GSSS Charitable Foundation Activities

A Decade Of Dedication
G.S.S.S Charitable Foundation (Regd) was formed by the Gowda Saraswath Sevak Samaj, Malleswaram as an idependent Unit and registered on the 13th February, 2008, dedicated to the service of the economically backward families in the society. It has completed a decade of dedicated service. Over the period, it has not only laid a firm foundation in the society in the areas of education, job Oriented training, Social Services and premier Medical Care at affordable rates, but also established credibility amongst the esteemed Donors and the general public.

Free Scholarships have been paid to needy students including students of Engineering and Medical streams. It is worth mentioning that the support over the decade has enabled a large number of merit students to overcome disability of economic backwardness and join the main stream.

Our past activities have created a sense of abundant faith and confidence in the public. This credibility encourages us to embark on a NEW Project. We are in the lookout for large parcel of land on the outskirts of Bangalore to start ‘a “Senior Citizen Enclave” both for the rich and underprivileged. It is a mighty project and depends on the public response and support. We hope our dream will come true soon to serve the Samaj in this direction.

We are grateful to the Government of India for recognizing our activities and extending the Income Tax benefits under Sec 80G of Income Tax Act 1961. The Government of India are also pleased to enable our Charitable Foundation to receive donations in Foreign Exchange Vide G.O.I. Order dated 12/09/2017 under Foreign Contribution Regulations Act.

It is Our earnest appeal to all philanthropists, Family Trusts, Corporate and others to consider including our Charitable Foundation in their Annual Budget to enable us to do more service.

You are aware, we are amidst dire crisis of COVID-19. Thousands have become destitutes overnight. We also don't know how far this crisis will continue. It is imperative on our part at least to protect the Interest of our Samaj Bandhavas in Bengalore who are in distress in this hour of need.

An Appeal

The Gowda Saraswath Sevak Samaj has therefore opened "SEVAK SAMAJ APATH NIDHI" to give one time financial assistance of Rs.3000 per family in distress. This will be remitted on-line shortly.
